Carey is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) who specializes in endocrinology. Her clinical interests include diabetes mellitus and thyroid disease. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia, and a Master of Science in nursing from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio.
