Brett Hartman, DO, is a plastic surgeon specializing in surgical critical care and plastic surgery for burn patients. He performs reconstructive surgery to release burn contractures (tightening of the skin) and minimize the appearance of scars.
Dr. Hartman earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He gained further training through fellowships in burn surgery and plastic surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hartman is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Burn Association, and the North American Burn Society.
