Dr. Peticca is vice chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Forbes Hospital and the Medical Director of the Forbes Maternity Unit. He is also the Patient Experience Officer of AHN Women’s Institute, and the President of Forbes Medical Staff. Dr. Peticca cares for women throughout their lives for all obstetric or gynecological needs. He has special clinical interests in menstrual disorders, menopause, high-risk obstetrics, and endometriosis. He is skilled at performing gynecologic laparoscopic surgery. He was chosen as one of the Best Doctors in America since 2003, and was included among the Best Doctors in Pittsburgh by Pittsburgh Magazine since 2003. In 2021, Dr. Peticca was the Pittsburgh March of Dimes Medical Honoree. Dr. Peticca received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and completed his residency at the Magee Women’s Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
