Aryan Meknat, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in cardiac repair and replacement, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). He focuses on reparative surgeries for conditions of the heart, lungs, diaphragm, esophagus, and blood vessels. Dr. Meknat received his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed general surgery residencies at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He received further training through a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed an additional fellowship in structural heart and advanced aortic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and an aortic root fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Aryan Meknat speaks Spanish, Farsi, Urdu, and English. He welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
