Certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons, Dr. Parikh is an experienced surgeon specializing in general and colorectal surgery. He has extensive training in minimally invasive techniques, including robotic surgery for both general and colorectal procedures.
After earning his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania, Dr. Parikh completed his general surgery residency at Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He served as chief resident during his final year of training.
Dr. Parikh gained additional expertise during his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. In Rochester, he trained under leaders in the field of colorectal surgery to learn cutting-edge techniques for treating all types of colon and rectal diseases.
During his medical career, Dr. Parikh has participated in multiple surgical mission trips to India and Ecuador, performing routine physicals as well as a variety of surgical procedures.
Dr. Parikh is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Association.
