Dr. Chandra is a geriatric specialist, offering medical care for patients aged 65 and older. Through telemedicine and virtual visits with her, they can get help without having to leave their homes.
She treats older adults with memory or cognitive issues, social isolation, or depression — taking the time to listen to patients and their families. She works to understand what matters most to seniors and helps them achieve their goals as they age.
Her clinical interests include dementia, depression, and delirium in older adults, and advanced care planning.
Dr. Chandra received a medical degree from Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed a residency at AHN Allegheny General and West Penn hospitals in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She gained further training through a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Geriatric Society.
