Andrea Favini, MD is an adult psychiatrist who specializes in reproductive/perinatal psychiatry. She works at Women’s Behavioral Health within AHN’s PBHI and is skilled in psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Her clinical interests include treating individuals who are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, and postpartum as well as individuals with mood or anxiety changes related to the menstrual cycle and perimenopause. Dr. Favini went to medical school at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She graduated from residency at UPMC’s Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, where she also completed the Women’s Mental Health Area of Concentration, the Academic Administrator-Clinician Educator Track, and the Public Service Psychiatry Fellowship. She is certified in Adult Psychiatry and is affiliated with Postpartum Support International, Marce of North America, and the American Psychiatric Association.
