Dr. Bhargava earned his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, and completed his internal medicine residency at Tufts University School of Medicine-Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts. He subsequently completed his fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University Of Connecticut School of Medicine. While being trained in endocrinology, his special interests included the management of diabetes mellitus, bone and mineral disorders, osteoporosis, pituitary disorders and thyroid dysfunction. He has done extensive research and written several papers in the field of endocrinology.
He is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has medical staff privileges at Jefferson Hospital, Allegheny General Hospital, West Penn Hospital and Canonsburg Hospital and is welcoming new patients.
