Dr. Mehta is director of Noninvasive Cardiology, subchief of Cardiology, and physician champion of Heart Failure at AHN Jefferson Hospital. He specializes in care for patients with heart issues, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, preventative cardiology, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension. He has a special clinical interest in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT. He earned a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, also in Pittsburgh. He gained additional training through a cardiology fellowship at AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He speaks English.
