Dr. Stiver is a licensed psychologist at the Jefferson Counseling Center specializing in child and adolescent psychology. She is welcoming new patients from six to 21 years old.
She completed doctoral training at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA, and her residency at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD, which is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine. She gained additional training in psychological assessment, outpatient therapy, and autism spectrum disorder during a fellowship at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital as well. Dr. Stiver provides psychological assessment to clarify factors affecting mental health and recommend treatment. She uses cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral approaches to therapy for a wide range of concerns, but is particularly interested in those who may have autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), disruptive behaviors, anxiety, or depression.
