Alison is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who specializes in foregut surgery. Her clinical interests include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal and gastric cancer, and esophageal and gastric motility disorders.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Alison is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Alison is also a certified da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System first assistant, and she received a certification in Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.
Alison is committed to a holistic approach in treating patients, incorporating a wide range of approaches — from nutrition and exercise to medical management and endoscopic and surgical therapies.
