Alanna Ellis, CRNP, is a primary care nurse practitioner with AHN Pediatric Institute. Her clinical interests include general pediatrics and orthopaedics. She is skilled in performing non-invasive procedures such as joint injections and caring for children with acute and chronic muscle and skeletal pain. Alanna received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner Specialty Certificate from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Alanna is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In addition to her pediatric and orthopaedic experience she has also volunteered as a physical therapy assistant, helping patients with exercises, customized routines, and treatments. She sees patients from newborn to age 22.
