Dr. AlhajHusain received his medical degree at Aleppo University, Aleppo, Syria. He completed his internal medicine residency at Aleppo University, and at the State University of New York in Buffalo, N.Y., where he also completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties of Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He has authored many articles for peer-reviewed medical publications and has presented to medical audiences locally and nationally. He also served as chair of the Clinical Competency Committee of Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at West Virginia University. Dr. AlhajHusain has medical staff privileges at Allegheny Valley, Allegheny General, and West Penn hospitals.
